Dubfire, born Ali Shirazinia on April 19, 1970, in Washington, D.C., is an Iranian-American DJ and electronic music producer known for his dark, minimal techno and tech house tracks. He rose to fame as one half of the Grammy-winning duo Deep Dish before launching a highly influential solo career. He co-founded the label SCI+TEC, which has become a key platform for underground techno and his own productions.
