Kygo, born Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll on September 11, 1991, in Singapore, is a Norwegian DJ and electronic music producer known for pioneering the tropical house genre. He gained international fame with his 2013 remix of "I See Fire" and hit singles like "Firestone" and "Stole the Show." Kygo founded the record label Palm Tree Records in 2016, which has become a home for his own releases and a platform for emerging tropical and melodic house artists.
